Assets Manager – Credit Department will be responsible for proactively managing
both Retail and Corporate borrowing “watch” accounts showing early signs of
deteriorating trends and non-performing accounts, in order to turn their
performance around and further to coordinate external debt collectors’ efforts
on written off accounts in order to minimize losses to and maximise revenue for
the Bank.
Responsibilities:
- On
a daily basis call, issue arrears notices and follow up on clients that
have not settled their monthly obligations to improve portfolio quality
and avoid losses to the Bank. - Actively
follow up of monthly loan schedules, payments from employers for DAS
(deduction at source) accounts including Civil Servants Payment Solution
to avoid loan default of group schemes. - Quickly
respond to customer queries regarding the status of their accounts
including carrying out reconciliations where necessary. - Technically
support the Branches in responding to issues regarding loan accounts
raised by their customers for effective feedback, resolution and customer
service. - Ensure
client files are up to date with all communications, correspondences,
strategy reports, and file notes to document effort and ease the recovery
procedure. - Report
to the Team Leader Special Assets Management the performance of the
allocated portfolio on a regular basis to evaluate the effectiveness of
on-going recovery efforts and strategies. - Confirm
/ follow up with legal on security perfection for those accounts that are
NPA or are showing signs of deterioration to ensure a smooth and quick
foreclosure process. - Ensure
boundaries are opened for all watch accounts to verify that the property
secured with the Bank is in line with the original valuation for ease of
foreclosure. - Recommend
to Team Leader Special Assets Management allocation of relevant portfolio
to External Debt Collectors, for appropriate action in order to improve
performance of these accounts. - Identify
accounts due for write off and recommend accordingly to Team Leader
Special Assets Management, in order to comply with BOU regulations. - Actively
coordinate External Debt Collectors & Auctioneers to effect recovery
activities in liaison with other departments of the Bank e.g. Legal - Ensure
timely & accurate entry of account cash flows for accurate IFRS
Reporting. - Process
release of securities for accounts that have been paid off.
Experience:
- The

to confront offenders in a manner that conveys authority but without further
