and poverty. Medical Teams International, Uganda, as an implementing partner
for World Food Program (WFP), is currently implementing a Nutrition Program
(Provision of Supplementary Feeding Program) among the refugee population in
Southwestern Uganda and Westnile.

Job Summary: The WFP Project
Officer -Nutrition will lead a team of Nutrition staff in Adjumani and Arua to
scale up and consolidate enrollment of children <5 years, pregnant and
lactating Mothers into the various programs of OTC, ITC, TSFP and BSFP while
also ensuring a strong linkage among these programs.

Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The Project Officer should hold a
Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or related field. Applicants with previous
medical background especially in Clinical Medicine and community Health or
Registered Nursing are highly encouraged to apply. - The ideal candidates should have two years
extensive work experience in the field of Nutrition with clear
demonstration of having worked in a recognized and very busy project
implementing IMAM. - All applicants must have experiences
working in hard to reach, difficult and risky environment. The applicant
should be hard working, a team player, good communicator and passionate
about fulfilling the MTI mission of demonstrating the love of Christ to
people affected by disaster, conflict and poverty. - Computer literacy skills in MS Word,
Excel, Computer analysis and report writing. - The candidate must poses a Valid riding
permit with previous experience in using motorcycles of the type; DT
Yamaha, Honda XL, AG Yamaha, etc.
