Ltd. was established in 2013 and is successfully expanding its large scale
farming operations within Nwoya District. The objective of the Outgrower
Business Model is to create a business partnership between us as a large-scale
agribusiness and small-scale producers surrounding our operations. We aim to
reach this goal by providing agricultural and business educational training, a
market for inputs and outputs as well as access to capital.
Key
Duties and Responsibilities: 
·        
Assists the Outgrower Manager in input needs
assessment and cropping potentials and analyses what is ecologically accepted
within the area, while providing best margins
·        
Plans together with Outgrower Manager and executes
the establishment of farm shop, thus directly carries out sales of inputs and
purchasing of grain commodity (maize, soya beans and potentially further crops)
·        
Technically supports the recruitment, trains and
strictly supervises the farm shop clerks
·        
Responsible for daily, weekly and monthly agro
input and produce stock purchase plan and other logistical requirements
·        
Carries out stock control from purchase to
re-trading and continously updates the company on stock records
·        
Conducts practical post harvest handling trainings
and grain quality standards both at community and farm shops, including new
high value crops
·        
Perform any other duties assigned
Qualifications,
Skills and Experience: 
·        
The applicants should have an excellent track
record in handling, marketing and sales of agro Inputs (seeds and chemical).
·        
Proven record in purchase of large stock of grains
with clear understanding of grain quality standards. Must have handled over
300MT of grain commodities
·        
Past experience in logistics, store management and
warehousing
·        
Excellent post-harvest handling skills
·        
Working knowledge in finance and record management
·        
Computer literacy skills
·        
Past experience in working with farmer groups
·        
Valid Riding license
·        
English speaking
·        
Fluent in Luo/Acholi
