clients satisfied. They would like to recruit for a valuable client, an
established hotel in Gulu Town. The Hotel will be opening up a Tourist Lodge in
North Uganda late this year.
Job Summary:  The Hotel General Manager will oversee both
the hotel and the lodge.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:  The successful candidate will lead the
hotel management team by:
  • Leadership and Development of entire hotel
    operations
  • Guiding development of operating strategy
    for all business units
  • In charge of developing market share
  • Act as a Creative agent of change
  • Eco-Friendly strategy alignment champion
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
  • The applicant must hold a Diploma in
    Hotel/ hospitality management from recognized institution both locally and
    internationally. Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in hospitality
    management /or business management / administration is an added advantage;
  • The incumbent should be a seasoned hotel
    manager with a minimum of six years’ experience in a 4 star or 5 star
    establishment;
  • Computer literacy skills i.e. Proficient
    in MS Project Management & Microsoft office applications;
  • Strong business acumen
  • Visionary leader, excellent communicator
  • Highly enthusiastic customer service
    oriented servant leader
  • Ability to build and sustain working
    relationships
  • Ability to deliver results through others
Other Positions:
  • Executive
    Chef:     Seven years of related experience
  • Food
    and Beverage Supervisor:     Four years’ experience
  • House
    Keeping Supervisor:     Four years’ experience
  • Barman:
    Four years’ experience
  • Guest
    Relations Supervisor.
