Future Options Consulting Ltd is an HR Consultancy company that seeks
to recruit for its valuable client, Healthwise Uganda Limited, a registered
private sector company providing programmatic support services in the health
sector.
Key Duties and
Responsibilities: 
  • Oversee the development and implementation
    of business programs for the organization including capacity building
    activities, health information and communication, clinical services,
    public health programs etc
  • Develop training curriculum for all the
    training programs of the organization
  • Identify and respond to business
    opportunities related to the objectives of the organization
  • Identify and maintain critical networks
    that are important for the achievement of the organizations objectives
  • Create and maintain conducive environment
    for nurturing strong business relationships with potential clients
  • Actively coordinate the organizations
    health related business activities and ensure they are well linked and
    synergistic to each other
  • Perform any other responsibilities
    assigned by the Chief Executive Officer
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
  • The Program Officer should hold a
    bachelor’s degree in public health, community development, or related
    fields. A Diploma in clinical medicine with requisite experience and
    skills may also be considered.
  • A minimum of three to five years’
    experience in health or development programs.
  • Past experience in project proposal
    writing, organizing and coordinating training activities/workshops scientific
    writing and or developing Newsletters.
  • The incumbent should be dedicated and
    self-driven, requiring minimum supervision committed to achieving results
    with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage new people,
    ability to carry out multiple tasks that are unrelated, ability to
    successfully negotiate business and turn opportunities into deals
  • Excellent computer skills MS word, Excel,
    Power point, internet
