Lemon, Castle Lite, Chairman’s ESB, Chibuku and our new brand Hero. NBL imports
and distributes Castle Lager and Grolsch in Uganda.
Key Duties and
Responsibilities: 
  • The incumbent will be analyzing a wide
    range of samples
  • Maintain lab equipment and ensure safety in the Malting Laboratory
  • Actively participate in trouble shooting
    and problem solving
  • Compile, send and present timely reports
  • Actively communicate and give regular
    feedback to all stake holders        ,
  • Work in Teams
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
  • The applicant should hold a Higher Diploma
    or Bachelor of Science Degree in either Food Science or Biology or
    Chemistry or Biochemistry or Industrial Chemistry.
  • At least two years working experience as a
    lab technician.
  • Working knowledge in Occupational Health
    and safety policies and procedures in a Foods and Beverages plant
    environment
  • High integrity and attention to detail
  • High energy, balanced personality self-
    discipline and drive, conceptualizing and innovative thinking, goal orientation
    and a strong output bias.
  • Proactive mindset, self-driven,
    self-starter and with initiative; ability to communicate (verbal and
    written),
  • Go getter attitude
  • Computer literacy skills i.e. Word,
    PowerPoint and Excel is an added advantage
