Job Summary: The School
Environmental Health Officer will be responsible for improving hygiene
behaviour and sanitation coverage at schools and community level, and train
people to manage new and existing water facilities.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
  • The ideal candidate for the School
    Environmental Health Officer career opportunity should hold a Bachelor’s
    degree or equivalent in Public/Environmental Health
  • Three or more years’ experience in
    planning and implementing environmental health interventions with an INGO.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent training/facilitation skills;
  • Good knowledge and understanding of
    current standards/guidelines for WASH,
  • Basic computer literacy skills;
  • Hold a valid Class A driving permit.
  • The candidates must speak Luo.
