Job Summary: The Senior
Specialist – Solutions will be responsible for the installation and maintenance
of fixed lines Data customers
Specialist – Solutions will be responsible for the installation and maintenance

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure that FLSD Opex within Budget
- Ensure Data Revenue / WiMAX
- Ensure that FLSD Capex within Budget
- Technically support Initiatives and inputs
Least Cost Operator (LCO) Programme - Manage Fixed Lines Customers Effectively
- Ensure that MTTI is as per agreed targets
- Ensure that MTTR is as per agreed targets
- Ensure that the Fault rate is kept as low
as possible - Carryout Fixed Lines Core and Access Nodes
expansion and upgrades - Ensure a high fixed Lines market share
- Implement drive and support of the
company’s Business Data strategy - Ensure that faults are well managed and
escalations are done timely - Ensure that installation standards are
formulated, documented and quality measured - Ensure Quality standards
- Timely Weekly and Monthly Reporting
- Development of People and succession
Planning - Participate in Yellow Star Programs and
yellow care
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate should preferably hold
a Diploma in Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or
Information Technology - CISCO Networking
- At least one year’s experience in
Telecommunication Networks. - Technical knowledge of the operation of
GSM networks - Working knowledge of Microwave, WiMAX,
Copper & Fiber Networks - Knowledge of data communication &
Networking - Possess excellent communication skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Customer Centric
- Physical Competencies/Skills
- Highly innovative
- Results oriented
- Work long hours under pressure &
unsupervised - Excellent PC and Computing Skills
- Excellent organization skills
