Job Summary: The Radio and TX Technician will mainly ensure
network availability through carrying out proper reactive and preventive
maintenance of all network infrastructure systems including Fiber, Satellite,
GSM, 3G,4G, WiMAX, Microwave Radio network systems and High capacity DEMUX and
MUXES and LTE systems.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carry out network maintenance routines on
a day today basis for all nodes (wireline and wireless) in respective
region - Actively monitor network nodes for timely
fault resolution - Serve as a resource to the NOC for
escalation and fault resolution in respective region - Execute work orders as assigned to the
Radio Maintenance section - Oversee MTCE contractors in the region for
all out sourced technical work in the Radio Maintenance section
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant should possess a higher
Diploma in Electrical Engineering or BSC in Telecommunications - At least two (2) years; work experience
gained from working for a reputable telecommunication company as an
engineer. - Knowledge hungry with self-drive into
research of new technologies - High self-motivated learner to cope with
the dynamic telecom industry - Possess excellent communication skills

- Fiber Optic Maintenance
- Microwave Radio Operations &
Maintenance - Vendor Specific BTS Training for the
O& M - 3G, 4G, WiMAX Wi-Fi Technologies Training
