Key
Duties and Responsibilities: 
·        
Oversee and manage the branch team to meet set
Branch targets for loan disbursement, Portfolio quality and deposits growth.
·        
Ensure effective customer service delivery at the
Branch
·        
Provide support on the economic situation within
the branch environment that may present any opportunity and provide business
cases for market penetration and growth
·        
Ensure the branch team has sufficient product
knowledge and have the right skills to do their roles effectively
·        
The Branch Manager will arrange marketing drives
and participate in promotions within branch resources to increased branch
deposit and loan portfolio growth.
·        
Ensure branch compliance to all bank policies and
procedures.
·        
Directly responsible for providing continuous
leadership, supervision and development training for all branch staff, ensuring
skills gaps are identified and bridged and overall performance management of
branch staff is done
Qualifications,
Skills and Experience: 
·        
The Branch Manager should hold a relevant
University degree.
·        
A minimum of four years’ experience in Commercial
Banking or Microfinance, 2 of which should have been at supervisory or managerial
level.
·        
Working knowledge and experience in transactional
banking /operations is an added advantage.
·        
Ability to motivate and manage a team, capable and
willing to take responsibility, highly developed sense of reliability and
correctness.
·        
Advanced knowledge of the microfinance and banking
industry including micro and macro environmental factors and trends, micro
finance products and poverty eradication strategies.
·        
Possess the ability to implement a marketing,
sales and client service management implementation plan with excellent
marketing skills.
·        
Good trainer, facilitator, mentor, and coach, very
good communication skills.
