Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- In charge of monitoring and identifying
security missing gaps at the factory premises and make recommendations to
management for improvement. - Process security clearance verification
memos, visit requests and property leaving the company premises. - Intuitively monitor to ensure that
policies, procedures, standards are being followed by both the security
guards& general staff. - Support in the development of work plans
and programs for the security^ department. - Work closely with the security manager to
ensure proper discipline management of security guards. - Manage welfare of security guards in all
assignments: - Prepare staff leave roaster.
- Prepare an up-to-dated list of personnel
in the security department. - Regularly check that all factory’ and
office machines are turned off after work. - Ensure hand over of guns, bullets, other
tools and uniforms. - Support the security manager in carrying
out investigation on suspected member/activities as appropriate to
determine facts pertaining to the situation. - Conduct any other duties as may be
assigned to you by the security manager.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The applicant should preferably hold a
Diploma in law/Degree in Public Administration, Social science or any
related discipline. - Possession of an Administrative law
certificate and qualification in security management will be an added
advantage. - Highly computer literate
- Broad background and experience in
Military or Police and with a Discharge Letter - Ability to follow all types of supervisory
directions & Instruction [s] - Exceptional working stamina and stress
tolerance - Alert and ability to interact
- Strong enough to combat attacks
- Great monitoring abilities
- Good people management skills
- Excellent planning and organizational
skills - Must be strong and confident.
- The incumbent must have a clean criminal
record; - Be physically fit to perform the duties
related to the post; such physical fitness should be attested by a medical
certificate; - Excellent communication skills in English:
ability to write and communicate orally in a clear and concise manner
including preparation of presentation reports; - Ability to maintain a high level of
confidentiality and discretion in dealing with all Mission-related
matters.
