About Us:
Epicentre is an International Non-Governmental
Organization created by Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) in 1987 to help improve
the quality of its field interventions. Since 1996, Epicentre has been a World
Health Organization (WHO) collaborating centre for research in epidemiology and
response to emerging diseases. Epicentre’s work hinges around three main
activity areas: clinical research, field epidemiology and training.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
·        
Responsible
for seeking consent of patients /clients for the study.
·        
Give
investigational products and other drugs prescribed by clinicians respecting
the time, the dose and the hygiene and check the expiration date.
·        
The
Nurse will be taking patient samples and to informing the laboratory to pick
patients samples
·        
Inform
the clinician of the patient’s
condition
·        
Carry-out
patient follow up till the end of the study.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
·        
The
ideal candidates for these NGO career opportunities should hold Diplomas in
Nursing
·        
Registered
with the Nurses and Midwives Council and a valid practicing license
·        
Past
nursing experience in counselling and HIV care
·        
Previous
experience in research will be an added advantage
·        
Computer
literacy and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office.
