Job Summary: The Education Project Coordinator will be
primarily responsible for Monitoring & Evaluation, partnership/networking,
and capacity building of school and community-based activities to increase
student retention for improved reading outcomes of the USAID funded Literacy
Achievement and Retention Activity (LARA) project. The incumbent will also
support safe school methodologies to prevent and reduce school-related
gender-based violence to improve child protection. The individual will support
the Safe Learning Specialist in collaborating with strategic partners on child
protection, including UNICEF and other relevant USAID/Uganda implementing
partners.

the leadership of the Safe Learning Advisor, the incumbent mentors and trains
on School Management Committees, School Management Committee Associations,
teachers, parents, youth, other community members, and students for the purpose
of increasing retention and child protection against violence in and around
schools.
