funded by USAID, DFID, Australian Aid and other donors and clients. RTI
International is implementing the Uganda Literacy Achievement and Retention
Activity Project (2015-2020).
Job Summary: The USAID
Project Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer will technically support
the implementation of M&E tasks and deliverables for the Activity. The
incumbent will be tasked to write reports and communicate program results and
to improve implementation including: establishing systems for data gathering,
reporting and analyzing performance data for impact and sustainability of
project implementation; managing data collection processes as required the
project’s parameters; developing documentation of best practices and adjust the
Activity’s M&E approach; and facilitating the use of data for decision
making.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
  • The applicant for the M&E Officer Job
    should hold a Master’s degree in Statistics or other relevant degree and
    three years’ experience or Bachelor’s degree and six years of related
    experience.
  • Significant technical experience in
    managing quantitative and qualitative data collection and analyses
