(CIC) Africa Uganda Limited is a joint venture of CIC Insurance Group Kenya,
and the Co-operative movement in Uganda. CIC is now fully incorporated and
licensed to transact General and Life Insurance business. The Company has two
subsidiaries; CIC General Insurance Company Ltd and CIC Africa Life Assurance
Company Ltd. The two subsidiaries transact General and Life assurance business
respectively.

Job Summary: The Insurance Agents will sell CIC Africa
Uganda General Business Products.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assess
customer needs and advise clients on insurance coverage options and
pricing. - Provide
quotations as guided by the company - Collect/
gather industry knowledge and provide critical market feedback to your
supervisor regarding local competition and service needs. - In
charge of renewal follow up for customer retention - Ensure
accurate and timely capture of all customer information. - Perform
any other duty as may be assigned to you
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The
Insurance Agents should hold Bachelor’s Degrees or Diplomas in Marketing,
Sales, Business Management and Business Administration - Hold
a Certificate of Proficiency (COP) - Additional
qualifications in insurance, marketing and/or social/community work an
added advantage - Possession
of a Diploma in Cooperatives is also an added advantage - Two
or more years’ experience in insurance sales or three years sales
experience in other fields. - Excellent
computer skills - Excellent
negotiation skills - Excellent
communication skills - Excellent
training and presentation skills
