the Ministry of Trade Industry and Cooperatives mandated to coordinate the
elaboration of standards and quality of products and services so as to facilitate
fair trade, promote local industries and protect consumers.

Job Summary: The UNBS
Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining safe and secure
environment for customers and employees.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety of UNBS staff and
property - Institute necessary access control to UNBS
Facilities - Actively coordinate and supervise other
external security personnel. - Opening and closing of UNBS Offices
- Preparing monthly security reports to
Management - Render support in any other duties as may
be required from time to time
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate should hold an Honours
Degree with a minimum of five years’ experience in security related work
in a busy Government or business setting. - Specialized training in either Public
Safety and Security Management or Organizational Security and Management
from a recognized University/Institution will be an added advantage; - Computer proficiency with skills in
Microsoft Word, Excel, and Internet Applications - The Security Officer should preferably be
a team player who is an excellent communicator with good oral
communication and interpersonal skills.
Age: Below 50 years.
