Programmes Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring an effective
coordination, development and implementation of all school academic and
co-curricular programmes and provide administrative and teaching support to the
school
- Managing the preparation/development of
detailed school work plans, their implementation, monitoring, evaluation
and reporting. - Responsible for coordinating the
implementation of academic and co-curricular programs in the school. - Actively monitoring programs against
targets and providing appropriate and timely updates to key stakeholders,
while ensuring appropriate reporting is in place. - Contributing to the development of the
school strategic plan through analysis of the school’s developmental
context and needs. - Works in liaison with the Headteacher and
administrative team, set high expectations of learning for staff and
pupils, develop, implement, monitor, supervise, inspect ,review staff
performance and coordinate training and capacity building programs. - Provide teaching at primary school level
as well as assist and mentor fellow primary teachers. - Regularly review other primary education
areas and make recommendations for improvement. - Ensure parents and pupils are informed
about progress and how they can support improvement. - Create a healthy and safe space for
learning, promoting equal opportunities and respect for difference - Provide administrative support and
customer care - Perform any other responsibility as might
be assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
- The School Programmes Coordinator should
hold a bachelor’s degree in education or its equivalent with prior
qualifications in primary education. - Possess additional qualification in
management, education administration, project planning or other relevant
area to the job specification will be of added advantage. - The applicant should have good grades in
English and Mathematics at O’ level examinations - At least five (5) years teaching
experience in a primary school setting with proven experience in
leadership of school administration. - Working knowledge of Information
Communication Technology is desirable
