About US:
Mildmay Uganda is a Christian NGO that offers General and HIV/AIDS
medical services also providing technical support for Ministry of Health
Systems to scale up comprehensive HIV/AIDS Services in 16 districts of Central
Uganda. Mildmay Uganda is also an accredited Institution of Higher Learning
offering academic and short courses in health care.
Job Summary:  The
Transport Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining an efficient and
effective transport and vehicle management system to ensure that transport
services support the achievement of Mildmay Uganda objectives.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The ideal candidate should preferably hold
    a Bachelor’s Degree in Transport and Logistics Management or Business
    related Degree. The incumbent should also hold a post graduate diploma in
    Fleet Management.
  • A minimum of four years of related working
    experience in fleet management with two 
    years’ experience at supervisory level
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal
    skills
  • Computer literacy i.e. Proficiency in
    various Microsoft Office packages a
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English
    and local language are crucial.
  • Hard working, trust-worthy, and holding
    the highest levels of integrity and confidentiality.
  • The incumbent must be highly flexible,
    reliable, and in sympathy with the Christian values of Mildmay Uganda.
  • Evidence of a non-judgmental approach
    regarding race, religion, culture, sexuality and lifestyle is critical
