About US:
Mildmay Uganda is a Christian NGO that offers General and HIV/AIDS
medical services also providing technical support for Ministry of Health Systems
to scale up comprehensive HIV/AIDS Services in 16 districts of Central Uganda.
Mildmay Uganda is also an accredited Institution of Higher Learning offering
academic and short courses in health care.
Job Summary: The Executive Assistant will be responsible for
providing professional administrative support to the Executive Director’s
office for effective and efficient planning, directing, managing and
coordination of day-to-day activities.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  
  • The ideal candidate for the aforementioned
    career opportunity should hold a Degree in Mass Communication or Public
    Administration with specific training in Customer Care
  • A minimum of five years’ experience in
    similar roles at a senior office of a busy organisation.
  • Excellent command of both written and
    spoken English
  • Computer literacy skills i.e. working knowledge
    of MS Office packages including PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal
    skills
  • Computer literacy i.e. Proficiency in
    various Microsoft Office packages a
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English
    and local language are crucial.
  • Hard working, trust-worthy, and holding
    the highest levels of integrity and confidentiality.
  • The incumbent must be highly flexible,
    reliable, and in sympathy with the Christian values of Mildmay Uganda.
  • Evidence of a non-judgmental approach
    regarding race, religion, culture, sexuality and lifestyle is critical
