Mengo Hospital is the oldest hospital in Uganda which was established
by Sir Albert Cook in 1897. Today, the hospital is an urban community hospital
with all the amenities of a modern hospital. Mengo Hospital, a Church of Uganda
founded Private-Not-For-Profit Institution, with capacity of 300 beds.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • The Quality Improvement Coordinator will
    be conducting Hospital performance reviews and Quality Improvement
    Journals
  • In charge of monitoring the implementation
    of Standard Operating Procedures
  • Responsible for the development of
    strategies for managing quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The ideal candidate should hold a MBCHB or
    BSc.N Degree with training in quality improvement in a health care
    setting. Possession of a Post graduate training and qualification in
    Health Services Management, Clinical Epidemiology or Public Health is an
    added advantage
  • At least two years’ experience
  • Skills in Data collection methods, Data
    analysis and Report writing
  • Strong Research background
