- The applicant will cordially welcome
clients/ visitors to the office and directing them to the different
departments. - Co-ordinate meetings and client visits to
ensure guests are comfortable. - In charge of co-ordinating company
functions/ fun activities. - Distribute food coupons to staff every
beginning of month as well as auditing their consumption at the restaurant
to ensure that the invoice matches the consumption. - Responsible for managing the first aid box
as well as distribute medication to ailing staff. - In charge of placing orders for water and
office supplies and ensuring that they don’t run out. - Ensuring that the reception area is clean
and tidy at all times. - Making calls to prospective candidates
inviting them for interviews, as well as coordinating the interview
process. - Maintaining security by following
procedures, for example printing attendance sheets for both the day and
night shift, issuing visitor badges and monitoring the visitors’ book. - Perform any other business such as
printing, research, report writing, filing and data entry as may be
requested by the administration staff.
- The ideal candidates for the Receptionist
job should hold a relevant Bachelor’s Degree with strong academic
records - A minimum of one year’s experience in a
similar position - Possess excellent communication and
interpersonal skills - Fluent in both written and spoken English
- Computer literacy skills i.e. Microsoft
office skills - Smart in appearance
- Possess the ability to work under pressure
- Excellent organizational skills
