Job Summary: The Senior
Accountant will support the Manager Finance in providing routine financial
management and accounting support.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintains main and subsidiary accounts of
the Authority - Intuitively verifies financial documents and
payments - Maintains accounting ledgers for budgeting
control - Support management in the preparation of
estimates for expenditure - Plans and monitors work schedules
- Support management in the preparation of
periodic financial statements and reconciliation - The incumbent prepares final accounts of the
Authority - Mentors, coaches and supervises
subordinates - Perform any other duties as assigned
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicants should preferably hold an
Honors Bachelor’s degree in Finance/or Accounting plus professional
qualification in accountancy obtained from a recognized awarding
Institution/body accredited by ICPAU OR
Full professional qualification in accountancy plus at least a
postgraduate diploma in management related field. - A minimum of three or more years’
experience as an Accountant in Government or an equivalent level of
accounting work experience from a reputable organization
