Meteorology) under Ministry of Water and Environment is a semi-autonomous
government authority for weather and climate services (UNMA Act. 2012) and a
focal institution to Inter-Governmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), an
international body mandated to carryout scientific research on climate change.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintains the subsidiary accounts
- In charge of preparing and filing payments
as required - Actively participates in verifying
financial documents and payments - Supports in preparing estimates for
expenditure - Renders support in preparing bank
reconciliation statements - Participates in preparing final accounts
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate should preferably hold
an Honors Bachelor’s degree with a bias in Accounting option obtained from
a recognized awarding Institution OR Full professional qualification in
Accountancy obtained from a recognizes awarding Institution accredited by
the Institute of certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU) - Past experience in a related field from a
reputable organization is an advantage.
