Job Summary: The
Management Accountant will be responsible for supporting management with
decision making through provision of accurate and timely management accounting
reports, data on business performance, effective cost accounting system and
effective budgetary controls systems for the business.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare Management Accounts and other
reports, as directed by your supervisor, - Update and maintain the Fixed Assets
Register - Prepare the Monthly and Annual Tax Returns
and other statutory obligations - Actively co-ordinate the preparation of
Audit Schedules - Regularly review the Inter-company
accounts and prepayments - Produces the P/L accounts for each
business unit and guides on budgetary performance / department expenses - Oversees the costing and stores personnel
to ensure accuracy and quality of work and makes recommendations as
necessitated - Serves as the focal person on SAP and
provides assistance and guidance in SAP as required - Oversees the bank reconciliations
personnel to ensure accuracy and quality of work and makes recommends as
required
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The Management Accountant should
preferably hold a University Degree in Commerce, Business Administration.
Accounting and Finance, Statistics or any other related field from an
accredited institution. Possession of a Master’s / Post Graduate Degree in
Financial Management or Business Administration is an added advantage. - Possess professional qualifications i.e.
Certified Public Accountant with relevant, professional qualifications
e.g. ACCA, CPA. - Five or more years’ working experience in
Finance and Accounting, preferably in an FMCG company. - Working knowledge of SAP is an added
advantage
