Job Summary: The Stores Officer will be responsible for
maintaining and promoting relationships with suppliers, service providers and
internal stakeholders; managing Pride’s main store and assist in the
procurement of supplies, while ensuring compliance to the approved stores
policies, procedures and set standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:  
  • Develop systems and procedures related to order
    processing and dispatch in the store.
  • Ensure communication across the department
    and relevant divisions on stocks, issues and dispatch.
  • Ensure the safety, and security of
    supplies and avoidance of loss as a result of deterioration, theft and,
    spendthrift waste.
  • Ensure that inventory is efficiently
    tracked by the system to minimize loss due to obsolescence and expiry.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  
  • The ideal candidate for this placement
    should hold a Diploma in Purchasing & Supplies, stores Management or
    in any other related field.
  • The ideal candidate should have a minimum of
    two years’ experience in related job roles.
  • All candidates should also have 2 principle
    passes at A’ Level and credit passes in English and Mathematics at O’
    Level.
  • Possess good customer awareness and
    emotional intelligence skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication
    skills.
  • The ideal candidate should maintain
    confidentiality, have self- drive and confidence, be Proactive
  • Possess business acumen
  • Excellent public relation skills
  • Ability to multi-tasking
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication
    skills
  • Good at goal setting and quality control.
  • She/she should also be computer literate
  • Possess the ability to coach & mentor
  • Skilled in change management
  • Possess emotional intelligence and
    advocacy skills
