the world, working in a number of countries in Africa and Asia on poverty
alleviation Programs, is registered in Uganda as BRAC Uganda. The organization
implements integrated development approach combining Education, Health,
Agriculture, Livestock, Adolescent Empowerment and Microfinance.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • The incumbent will plan, coordinate and
    execute health and nutrition activities within the Health and
    Agriculture-JSDF projects.
  • Oversee community health forums and
    identify health nutrition and training needs/gaps.
  • Actively facilitate and organize nutrition
    training and workshops.
  • In charge of coordinating with other
    stakeholders to promote a healthy context or social environment as well as
    Sharing up-to-date information by analyzing, and applying current
    technical data relevant to nutritional health care services.
  • Responsible for developing policies and
    strategies for promoting nutritional health services both at local,
    regional or national level. (Policies should be in line with National
    policy)
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The applicant should preferably hold a
    master’s degree in Human nutrition/Public Health.
  • Working experience in Nutrition and Human
    health Projects
  • Good and practical knowledge in child care
    (nutrition) and reproductive health care services especially in mothers.
  • Possess sufficient knowledge in the field
    of nutritional health both in Children and Adults.
  • Commendable managerial, administrative,
    analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Possess the ability to readily analyze,
    understand and discuss new program designs, and implementation approaches.
  • Proven ability to identify priority
    actions, generate and complete work plans within short time frames.
  • Excellent communication in English both
    written and verbal.
  • The incumbent should be computer literate.
