Future Options Consulting Ltd is an HR Consultancy company that seeks
to recruit for its valuable client in the Banking sector.
Key Duties and
Responsibilities: 
  • The incumbent will work closely with the
    Executive Director to ensure strong financial management and adequate
    internal controls of the company’s funds; that proper approvals and other
    contractual requirements have been met; that all deliverables and required
    contractual documentation are filed appropriately electronically and in
    hard copy by the relevant team members; coordination with the project
    management team on overall financial compliance, and contractual
    requirement issues.
  • Work in consultation with the Executive
    Director to develop and manage the implementation of project human
    resources, financial management, and operational policies and procedures
  • Manage direct reports to a high level of
    personal and professional performance to ensure that they are in
    compliance with their contracts
  • Ensure that field project activities and
    operations are in compliance with Donor regulations and company policies
    and procedures
  • Support the Executive Director in
    providing overall management of the programs financial accounts and
    systems and in planning of yearly internal and external audits and other
    audits as they occur; 
  • Prepare annual organizational budget as
    well as regular monitoring and evaluation of budgetary variance analysis
    and budget burn rates;
  • Develop, Administer, communicate and
    enforce that all financial requirements, policies, procedures, systems,
    manuals and guidelines are met and followed at all times by all Staff;
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
  • The applicant should preferably hold a
    Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Finance & Accounting, Business
    Administration – Accounting option or its equivalent. Professional
    qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, CFA, and CPA are an added advantage.
    Possession of a Master’s degree in the relevant field
  • A minimum of three or more years of
    post-qualification experience with a knowledge of donor rules and
    regulations especially USAID highly desirable
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in
    various software including accounting packages.
