Joint Medical Store (JMS) is
a Church founded private not-for-profit organization whose mission is to supply
medicines, medical equipment and related healthcare services, and training of
assured quality to the people of Uganda at affordable prices.
Job Summary:  The
JMS Medical Representatives will serve as a liaison between JMS, Customers and
Stakeholders within their region of jurisdiction.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Act
    as a liaison between JMS and the different stakeholders in the assigned
    region, and resolve or report on pertinent issues.
  • Actively
    promote Joint Medical Store products and services in the assigned
    territory.
  • Monitor
    service delivery and manage special customer requests to ensure timely
    response.
  • In
    charge of implementing promotional activities.
  • Recruit
    new customers for JMS and implement initiatives to retain them.
  • Actively
    participate in organizing promotional events, exhibitions and
    presentations.
  • Provide
    relevant technical support to customers and stakeholders.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
  • All
    suitably qualified and interested candidates should possess Diplomas in
    Pharmacy, Clinical Medicine, Nursing, or Medical Laboratory Technology
  • Good
    training and experience in marketing of pharmaceutical products is
    desirable
  • Computer
    literacy skills including experience in use of MS Word, Excel and
    Outlook
  • Significant
    experience in customer and market research
  • Strong
    clinical knowledge
  • Possess
    a Valid class B driving license/Motor Cycle license
  • Excellent
    interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional
    oral and written communication skills,
  • Highly
    developed selling & influencing skills
  • Demonstrated
    high level of integrity.
  • Ability
    to achieve assigned targets
  • Flexible
    thinking and creativity
  • Resilience
    and tenacity
  • Time
    management skills
  • Excellent
    planning, organizational and prioritization skills
