About CiplaQCIL:
CiplaQCIL is a state-of-the-art WHO certified pharmaceutical
manufacturing plant located at Luzira Industrial Park, Kampala producing
anti-retroviral drugs (ARVs) & Artemisinin-based Combination Therapies
(ACTs) to combat HIV/AIDS and Malaria respectively. Founded in 2005, it is a
joint venture between Uganda’s Quality Chemicals Limited & Cipla Ltd, a
leading Indian pharmaceutical company.
Job Summary:  The
Production Officer will manage the Manufacturing activities: Dispensing, Granulation,
Blending, Compression, Coating and Documentation.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The Production Officer should hold
    Bachelor’s degrees in Pharmacy.
  • Possess excellent oral and written
    communication skills, plus a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
    Suite.
  • Detailed working knowledge of cGMP for
    Pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Detailed understanding and knowledge of
    the Tablets manufacturing and processes.
  • Working knowledge in process tests of
    various processes.
  • Knowledge of water purification system
    will be an added advantage.
