Global Health Uganda (GHU) is a registered not for profit, limited
liability company involved in facilitating collaborative research especially in
the area of brain injury and neurodevelopment. The organization subcontracts
and manages research grants.
Key Duties and
Responsibilities: 
  • Responsible for data entry for study data
    from different data sources.
  • Weekly data backup for all study data.
  • Prepare source data for computer entry by
    compiling and sorting information and establishing entry priorities.
  • In charge of reviewing data for
    deficiencies, resolving discrepancies by using standard procedures or returning
    incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
  • The ideal candidate should hold a Diploma
    in Information Technology, Computer science.
  • Database management knowledge in the
    following platforms like MSQL and SQL
  • Good Data Entry Skills with Attention to
    Detail, Confidentiality, Thoroughness and a High Energy Level.
  • Past experience in research data entry is
    an added advantage.
