will be responsible for the provision logistical support and follow up in ACF
operational areas as per Country strategy.
- Provide all required logistics support
ensuring strict compliance to ACF’s kit log and its implementation in
district of operations for proper audit filing and control. - Apply relevant ACF procedures and policies
for the supply chain, car fleets (including motorcycle and bicycle), and
stocks through the technical guidance of the Logistics Coordinator. - Support the sub office where necessary
with small local procurements based on authorized PRs as requested by the
budget holders and ensure correct ACF procedures are followed in
procurement chain cycle. - Respect ACF physical stock management
requirements (organization, cleaning, ventilation). - Conduct monthly inventory of stock and
ensure that stock cards are created and kept accurately updated. - Oversight of proper maintenance and
cleanliness of the stores and compound. - Prepare all cargo and shipping documents
(Delivery Note, etc). - Ensure safe preparation and loading of
cargo onto transportation vehicles. - Responsible for petty cash management at
the sub office by ensuring the respect of ACF financial procedures related
to cash management; - Prepare financial documents in their order
and ensure payments are as per budget lines. -Prepare the cash forecast
for the sub base respecting deadlines. - Manage the housekeeper and the guards.
- Make hotel reservations for any visiting
guests where necessary. - Ensure that the environment in the sub
office is healthy for the safety of the staffs
- The Base Assistant should hold a Diploma
in Logistics, Administration and any other related qualification - At least a year of relevant experience.
- Possession a valid driving/riding permit.
- Professional computer skills; MS Word,
Excel and internet. - Past experience in Accounting and Cash
Handling. - Autonomous and able to take initiative.
- Ability to set own deadlines and meet
them. - Excellent communication, teamwork spirit,
transport skill - Possession of a valid riding permit
- Good spoken & written English
- Skills and experience in report writing;
- Possess the ability to communicate and
perform within an international and multicultural team. - Working Languages: Fluent in English and
Madi local language of Adjumani
