Summary: The Verification Officer will be responsible for overseeing
all verification activities that will be carried out by an external contractor.
This will include biannual audits of companies’ reported seed sales as well as
verification of unsold seeds. The
Verification Officer should be familiar with legume seed production and sales
processes, and will need to liaise and oversee all verification tasks to ensure
verification objectives are carried out with integrity. Verification work will
be focused both on verifying results, and preventing and identifying fraudulent
practices. The incumbent should have demonstrated success in designing and
implementing verification and quality control systems, monitoring and
evaluating system implementation, overcoming challenges and solving problems,
