Job Summary: The Projects Coordinator will mainly
identify, implement and coordinate project activities right from the inception
to execution of the project in consideration of project lead-times to ensure
successful completion of the project.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Actively coordinate
activities between the clients and relevant stakeholders from inception to
execution of the project - Provide clients with
professional advice on logistics in project activities - Regularly update clients on
cargo status, tax implications, regulations, progress on procedures and
any eventualities - Maintain appropriate
records and documentation - Expeditiously follow up on
tax exemptions for the client - Understanding the client
needs and expectations and be able to meet them - Regular client visits to
discuss matters pertinent to the client’s account, satisfaction and
retention
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The Projects Coordinator
should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Project
Planning and Management, International business or equivalent
qualification - Three or more years working
experience in a reputable fast paced business environment preferably in a
Clearing and Forwarding or Shipping Company - Possession of a certificate
in East African Customs & Freight Forwarding Practicing Certificate
(EACFFPC) is an added advantage - Computer literacy skills
i.e. Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages -
Be highly dynamic and result oriented
- Ability to plan and
coordinate a wide range of activities - Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills - Be a quick learner and
adept - High degree of integrity
and ethical standards
