About US:
The Ministry of Works and
Transport has a mandate to plan, develop and maintain an economic, efficient
and effective transport infrastructure; &transport services by road, rail,
water, and air. They are also mandated to manage public works including
Government Structures and promote standards in the construction industry. The
Mission of the Ministry is “to promote an adequate, safe and well
maintained public works and transport infrastructure and services so as to
effectively contribute to the socio-economic development of the country.”

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support
the Weighbridge Controller in operating and managing the Weighbridge. - Render
support in developing work Plans, financial budgeting and progress
reports. - Perform
any other duties assigned by the Weighbridge Controller.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
ideal candidate must be a Ugandan holding a Diploma in either Mechanical
or Electrical Engineering from a recognized University or Institution. - At
least two years’ experience in Axle Load Control Management - Hold
a certificate in computer applications - Possess
a Valid Driving Permit
