Consultancy Services including Assurance and Business Advisory Services,
Business Planning, Feasibility studies & Project Proposal Preparation,
Human Resource, Risk Management and Information System Solutions. They would
like to recruit for a valuable client.
Duties and Responsibilities:  
The incumbent is in charge of the preparation/lining
up of payment vouchers for both cash and bank payments;
Entering approved payment requests
into accounting software;
Follow up of accountability of
advances following procedures in the accounting manual;
Responsible for posting tax invoices
and receipts for clients;
File all accounting documents in a
professional manner;
Following up on due accounts from
the clients and reconciliation of clients’ accounts;
Responsible for the preparation of
monthly bank reconciliation of clients’ accounts;
Actively participate in the
preparation of monthly management accounts for the Association;
Facilitate the preparation and
follow up of tax matters of the Association;
Ensure that all matters of
Administration of the Association are properly executed;
Carry out procurement of items in
line with the procurement policy; and
Perform any other duties that may be
allocated to you from time to time.
Skills and Experience:  
The ideal candidate for the Finance
Officer vacancy should hold a Degree in Commerce, Accounting or Business
Administration from a recognized University or relevant Discipline;
Possession of professional qualification
in ACCA,CPA or CIMA is desirable;
Academic excellence in all the above
A minimum of four or more years of relevant
working experience in a similar busy environment;
Excellent financial management
skills with knowledge of computer accounting packages and good understanding of
financial requirements and tax policies;
Excellent analytical skills and
ability to work under minimum supervision;
Highly self motivated with
demonstrated ability to generate financial reports and meet set deadlines with
good integrity and confidentiality;
Working knowledge of computerized
accounting software like QuickBooks, tally etc is an added advantage;
Possess the ability to maintain
personal professional development and competencies on financial issues; and
Be a good team player with good
interpersonal communication and creative thinking skills.
