Job Summary:
 The Senior Accountant will be
responsible for applying accepted accounting principles and procedures to analyze
financial information, prepare accurate and timely financial reports and
statements and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures.
Key Duties
and Responsibilities: 
  • The incumbent will compile and analyze
    financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly
    and annual accounts
  • Ensure financial records are maintained in
    compliance with acceptable policies and procedures
  • Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are
    met
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly
    and year end close processes
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Resolve accounting discrepancies and
    irregularities
  • Prepare annual budget
  • Ensure continuous management and support of
    budget and forecast activities
  • Manage the accurate and appropriate recording
    and analysis of revenues and expenses
  • Evaluate and advise on business operations
    including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments and future
    revenues

    Loss Statement)

  • Statement of Cash Flow
Qualifications,
Skills and Experience: 
  • All applicants should preferably hold a
    Bachelor’s degree in any business related subjects majoring in accounting
    or finance
  • Possess professional accounting qualification
    e.g ACCA or CPA
  • A minimum of seven or more years’ experience in
    a similar role is essential.
  • Skills in Financial Management
  • Working knowledge of Accounting Operations
  • Excellent accounting software user and
    administrative skills
  • Governance and Business Controls
  • Taxation working knowledge

  • Attention to detail and accuracy
