the Finance Officer (Financial Accounting) in carrying out financial
transactions, prepare financial records and prepare financial reports in
accordance with International Acceptable Accounting Standards.
- Collect
and process data on the Secretariat’s administrative expenses and
disbursement to Designated Agencies for analysis. - Collect
data, verify and prepare quarterly performance reports of Designated
Agencies for input into the absorption report of Management. - In
charge of managing payables and receivable registers of the Fund. - Prepare,
code payment vouchers and post transactions in the computerized financial
management system. - Compile
and submit periodic financial reports on quarterly absorption performance
of Designated Agencies. - Prepare
and administer the monthly payroll in coordination and close consultation
with the Human Resource function of the Fund. - Manage
petty cash and accountability in line with the petty cash policy of the
Fund. - Archive
financial records of the Fund and retrieve such records upon request by
Management. - Perform
any other duties assigned by the Finance Officer (Financial Accounting)
from time to time.
- The
ideal candidate for the Road Fund’s career opportunity should preferably
hold a bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Business Administration or
Accounting or Financial Management or equivalent qualification; - Possess
or be pursuing a professional qualification i.e. ACCA or CPA - At
least two years’ experience gained in a reputable agency. - Computer
literacy skills - Excellent
communication skills, written and verbal. - Possess
the ability to work under tight deadlines without compromising quality. - Demonstrable
team leadership and good organization skills.
