Secretary
Commission (EOC) was established by the Equal Opportunities Act of 2007 and is
mandated to provide a framework for redressing imbalances which exist against
the marginalized groups while promoting equal opportunities for all.
- In
charge of Human Resource Planning - Responsible
for managing the pay roll and assessment of benefits - Managing
information related to recruitment personnel statistics and job analysis - Originating
letters related to Human Resource Management - Responsible
for staff development and training. - In
charge of counseling and tendering appropriate advice and guidance to
staff - Compiling
and submitting periodic performance reports pertaining to Human Resource
Management - Responsible
for managing staff relations and welfare matters - Perform
any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
- The
candidates should hold an Honors Degree in either Social Work and Social
Administration, Human Resource Management, Public Administration and Management, Business Studies /
Administration, Commerce (Management/Human Resource Management option),
Arts or Social Sciences or Development Studies or Management Science or
any other relevant equivalent qualification with human resource
management/personnel management as one of the course units from a
recognized University institution. Possession of a Post Graduate Diploma
in Human Resource Management or
Public Administrator and Management will be an added advantage - All
applicants should have three (3) years’ experience at a level of Human
Resource Officer – in Government or equivalent level of experience from a
reputable organization. - The
applicants should have the following competences; Human resource
management, records and information management and managing employee
performance
their applications including a Public Service Form 3 (2008), download here,

detailed curriculum vitae (one of the two referees should be the applicant’s
employer), copies of academic transcripts, certificates and three recent
