About US:
The Equal Opportunities
Commission (EOC) was established by the Equal Opportunities Act of 2007 and is
mandated to provide a framework for redressing imbalances which exist against
the marginalized groups while promoting equal opportunities for all.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Conducting
    research and data collection on the Commission’s Mandate
  • Works
    closely with other government and non-governmental organizations on equal
    opportunities matters.
  • Compiling
    and analyzing data
  • In
    charge of developing manuals and guidelines for use in the Commission in
    liaison with Senior Research Officer
  • Studying
    and identifying relevant issues from research conducted by other Agencies
  • Developing
    acceptable project proposals/ research tools and instruments for approval
    by the Commission
  • Compiling
    research and periodic reports
  • Perform
    any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The
    Research Officer should possess an Honors Degree in either Quantitative
    Economics, Statistics, Population Studies, Demography, Public Policy or
    Social Work and Administration (SWASA) or any other course majoring in Sociology
    or Social Work from a recognized Institution.
  • The
    applicant should be competent in Research and Information Management.
