Job Summary:  The incumbent will be responsible for property
management particularly property business operations, marketing and information
management. The Property Manager will also be administering daily functions of
the property.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Responsible
    for managing the property in an efficient and value adding j manner.
  • In
    charge of establishing management processes, procedures and systems.
  • Preparing
    and maintaining statutory records including tax returns, accounts, etc.
  • Drawing
    and enforcing terms of rental agreements.
  • Ensuring
    timely payments and collections of dues especially rent and utilities
    bills.
  • In
    charge of preparing and submitting daily, weekly, monthly and annual
    reports.
  • Responsible
    for occupancy management.
  • Ensuring
    that properties are properly maintained and implementing preventive
    maintenance programs.
  • Ensuring
    security of the premises,
  • In
    charge of preparing budgets for the Directors.
  • Mentoring
    and supervising a team of subordinate staff
  • Attracting
    tenants by advertising vacancies and treating clients courteously
  • Exploring
    opportunities to add value to the Job accomplishment.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The
    ideal candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration
    or related studies.
  • At
    least three years’ experience in management of properties and or related
    services.
  • Detailed
    knowledge and understanding of financial and accounting principles.
  • Advanced
    and or specialized studies are added advantages.
  • Computer
    literacy i.e. Ability to use Microsoft and property management software.
  • Possess
    the ability to solve problems.
  • Exceptional
    communication, negotiation and sales skills.
  • Multi-tasking
    and working under minimum supervision.
  • Ability
    to make very urgent, mature and responsible decisions.
  • Owning
    risk management skills.
  • Possess
    a valid driving license.
  • Ability
    to speak at least English and Luganda.
Age: Between 35 to 45
years
