About US:
The Equal Opportunities
Commission (EOC) was established by the Equal Opportunities Act of 2007 and is
mandated to provide a framework for redressing imbalances which exist against
the marginalized groups while promoting equal opportunities for all.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Responsible
    for investigating discrimination and marginalization issues on the
    Commission’s accord or upon receipt of a complaint from the public
    concerning equal opportunities.
  • Managing
    case files and assembling evidence.
  • Ensuring
    safe custody of investigation reports, evidence and exhibits.
  • Compiling
    and submitting periodic reports to supervisor
  • Perform
    any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The
    Principal Investigations Officer should possess an Honors Degree in Law or
    Social Sciences or Social Work and Social Administration from a recognized
    University or Institution plus a Post Graduate Qualification in a related
    field from a recognized University/Institution.
  • At
    least six (6) years relevant working experience, three (3) of which should
    have been served at a level of senior officer in the investigations field
    in Government or equivalent level of experience from a reputable
    organization.
  • All
    candidates should be competent in investigation management and legal
    acuity.
