Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for
maintaining/building the good image and reputation of the Commission - Popularizing the
services and activities of the Commission - Managing the flow of
information between and among the Commission stakeholders - In charge of
developing media announcements and critically verifying other means of
engagement with the media - Ensuring custody of
all media print, recordings and documentaries. - Initiating and
coordinating media engagements - Perform any other
duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The Public Relations
Officer should possess an Honor’s Degree in Mass Communication,
Journalism, Mass Media, Law and Management Studies. A Post Graduate
Diploma in Public Relations, Media or Mass Communication will be an added
advantage. - At least two (2)
years working experience in the field of Public Relations in Government or
reputable organization
