Job Summary: The Project Officer – Information
Communication Technology (ICT) technically support all project stakeholders on
the project’s ICT components and ensure that they utilise both laptop software
and mobile applications for use in teacher professional development, classroom
teaching and learning, school mentorship and monitoring.

and mobile applications for use in teacher professional development, classroom
teaching and learning, school mentorship and monitoring.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage
the computer software and mobile applications introduced through the
project. - Work
closely with the Project Officer – Education Community of Practice (ECoP)
to provide ongoing support to district education officials and schools to
address ICT related issues. - Work
in liaison with district education offices and AKF’s M&E team to
implement mobile school performance monitoring platform. - Technically
support the collection and documentation of project results, including the
effective documentation of lessons learnt and report to various
stakeholders - Also,
render support in the coordination and integration with other AKF projects
in West Nile.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
ideal candidate should preferably hold a Bachelor’s degree in ICT or
related field. - A
minimum of three to five years’ relevant experience in ICT management and
facilitation skills. - At
least two years of relevant education sector experience - Proficiency
in data collection and analysis. - Excellent
report writing skills. - Possess
the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines and produce results. - Excellent
spoken and written English.
