GOAL:
realization of the fundamental rights of the poor, the vulnerable, and those

Ethiopia, Haiti, Honduras, India, Kenya, Malawi, Niger, Sierra Leone, Sudan,
South Sudan, Syria, Uganda, Iraq, Philippines and Zimbabwe. GOAL’s head office

in Uganda:
three strategic sectors: Health (including WASH and health accountability
programming); and Livelihoods. GOAL Uganda mainstreams HIV, gender, child
protection and the environment/DRR across all programming. GOAL works on a
district focused approach, and uses a mixture of direct implementation and
partnerships with local civil society organizations, private sector partners
and District Local Government to give effect to our mission.
Summary: The GOAL Monitoring Evaluation and Learning
Officer will be conducting, coordinating and supervising surveys in Uganda for
at least one (1) programme.
Skills and Experience:
- The applicant should hold a
Bachelor’s Degree (B.A) in social sciences or equating to professional
experience. - Possess the ability to travel
to the field for up to a month at a time. - Past exposure and experience
in doing qualitative analysis - Proven experience in doing
quantitative analysis using analytical software. - Excellent communication
skills, including fluency in oral and written English. - Prior experience using mobile
data collection is desired - Past experience with Most
Significant Change Story Collection is also an added advantage
