General (OAG) is an institution established under the provisions of Article 163
of the Constitution of the Republic of Uganda. Its mandate, functions and
powers are enshrined in the National Audit Act, 2008. The main function of the OAG
is to audit and report on the Public Accounts of Uganda and all Public offices
or bodies and/or organization established by an Act of Parliament.
- Typing
and presenting accurate and error free work; - Ensuring
timely work and information flow to and from the office; - Ensuring
cleanliness and orderliness in the office; - Cordially
attending to phone calls and responding to stakeholder inquiries; - In
charge of requisitioning and managing office supplies; - Attending
to phone calls and data files are arranged in a perfect manner; - Perform
any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor.
- The
Pool Stenographer should be a Ugandan who possesses a Diploma in
Secretarial Studies from a recognized Institution. - At
least two years relevant working experience in the Public sector or
reputable private sector organizations. - Working
knowledge of the use of the modern office equipment will be an added
advantage.
