KSK:
Associates is a Professional Services Firm that provides Financial Consultancy
Services including Assurance and Business Advisory Services, Business Planning,
Feasibility studies & Project Proposal Preparation, Human Resource, Risk
Management and Information System Solutions. KSK seeks to recruit for its
valuable client in the real estate and
property management Industry.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Managing the Accounting
Department of the company; - Responsible for the
preparation/ lining up payment vouchers for both cash and bank payments
for the company; - Entering approved payment
requests into accounting software; - Expeditiously follow up of
accountability of advances following procedures in the accounting manual; - Posting tax invoices and
receipts for clients; - File all accounting documents
in a professional manner; - Following up on due accounts
from the clients and reconciliation of client accounts; - Responsible for the
preparation of monthly bank reconciliations, NSSF, VAT,WHT and PAYE returns; - Actively participate in the
preparation of monthly management accounts for the company; - Actively facilitate the
preparation and follow up of tax matters of the company; - Responsible for the
procurement of items in line with procurement policy; and - Perform any other duties that
may be allocated to you from time to time.
Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate should
hold a bachelor’s degree in Commerce, accounting and finance or Business
Administration from a recognized University or relevant discipline; - Possession of Part
professional qualifications in ACCA, CPA or CIMA is desirable; - A minimum of four of more
years working experience in similar industry; - Excellent financial
management skills with knowledge of computer Accounting Packages and good
understanding of financial requirements and tax policies; - Possess excellent analytical
skills and Ability to work with minimum supervision; - Highly self-motivated with
demonstrated ability to generate financial reports and meet deadlines with
integrity and confidentiality; - Working knowledge of
computerized accounting software like QuickBooks, Tally etc is an added
advantage; - Possess the ability to
maintain personal professional development and competencies on financial
issues; and - Be a good team player with
good interpersonal, communication and creative thinking skills.
