• Responsible
  for developing and implementing PR and Corporate Communications
  Strategies, policies, budget; and annual work plan.
• In
  charge of managing the flow of information between and among OAG
  stakeholders.
• Enhancing
  the importance and awareness of Audit reports to the public.
• Responsible
  for coordinating OAG corporate social responsibility programmes, corporate
  sponsorship, corporate advertising and corporate events.
• Develop,
  design, write, produce, editing of communication materials; and
  responsibility for photography/video.
• Maintain
  an up-to date program website and portal with current information,
  publications, news stories and success stories.
• Handle
  publicity and media relations.
• Perform
  any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor

• The
  Public Relations Officer should be a Ugandan who holds an Honors
  Bachelor’s degree in either Mass Communication, Journalism or Public
  Relations from a recognized University or Institution: Membership to a
  professional public relations body e.g. Public Relations Association of
  Uganda and any other equivalent and recognized relevant professional body
  is an added advantage.
• Possess
  excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal,
  flexible, proactive, creative and Team player with ability to work under
  pressure and meet deadline.

• Detailed
  typed curriculum vitae which clearly supports the competencies required
  above
• Certified
  copies of academic qualifications, testimonials and professional training
  certificates.
• Names
  of three (3) referees and their contacts
• A
  recent passport size photograph
