Job Summary: The Estates Officer will be responsible for
developing technical plans and specification for the University’s
infrastructure development projects in line with the approved National
Standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops
and reviews construction guidelines and technical Hand books of the
University in line with the nationally approved standards and guidelines - Conducts
regular technical audits of civil/structural project proposals to ensure
adherence to structural design integrity and safety, and that any
deviations are formally approved - Ensures
timely maintenance of the University’s physical infrastructure, machines and equipment through the
preparation of maintenance plans, programs, schedule and Budgets.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
Estates Officer should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Structural
Engineering from a recognized University. - A
minimum of five or more years working experience with an organisation
dealing in construction works - Be
a registered member of the Engineers Registration Board - High
integrity and excellent public relations
Age: Between 35 to 50
years
