wide. The bank offers a wide variety of Products and services including;
Savings, Current accounts, Loans, Money transfer services and Bills payments to
its target market which comprises of micro, small and medium entrepreneurs,
salary earners and youth.
Job Summary: The Credit Supervisor will primarily manage the credit
underwriting process at the branch and ensure that loans are issued and
disbursed in accordance with the bank policies and procedures.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:   
  • Closely monitor the performance of the branch’s loans
    portfolio and ensure achievement of set asset quality targets.
  • Vet credit applications for credit worthiness,
    validity, correctness and accuracy of information in line with the credit
    policy.
  • Perfection and safe custody of line with the credit
    policy and procedures.
  • Coach and mentor Loan Officers in Credit Analysis.
  • Ensure timely follow up of loans in arrears and
    provide support and guidance to the credit officers in the monitoring and
    recovery of loans.
  • Ensure regular review and up- date of KYC data in the
    banking system in line with the credit policy and procedures.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  
  • The Credit Supervisor should hold a Bachelor’s degree
    in Business Administration, Social Sciences, Sales & Marketing or any
    other related discipline gained from a reputable university.
  • At least three years’ work experience in the position
    of Credit Officer.
  • Good supervisory & leadership skills.
  • Excellent Credit analysis skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Good oral & written communication skills.
  • Good integrity track record.
