in 1962, is today one of the biggest non-governmental aid and development
agencies in Germany. We campaign against worldwide hunger and for sustainable
food and nutrition security by promoting site-appropriate farming, establishing
access to clean water, sanitation and hygiene, improving healthcare and
education for people living in rural areas. Welthungerhilfe currently has four
areas of operation in Moroto, Lira, Adjumani, and Fort Portal.
the German Government, the organization will implement a long-term project
“RIAS – Strengthen Resilience through Infrastructure, Agriculture and Skills”
in Arua and Adjumani District possibly starting in March 2015.The project aims
to improve the livelihood of refugees and local host communities in the
settlement areas.
- Process
petty cash (cash box) payments - Execute
cash payments, collect and prepare proper receipts - Issue
receipts, refunds and credits - Updates
and maintain the electronic cashbook entries on a daily basis
- The
applicant should hold a Diploma in business studies or accounting - At
least two years’ experience in similar position with international NGO - Proven
ability to operate cash register and manage cash boxes - Excellent
oral and written skills - Accurate
with mathematics and currency - Excellent
computer skills in Word and Excel.
